Yuma KAGIYAMA, a sophomore from SEISA Kokusai High School YOKOHAMA, has been competing in the 2020 All Japan Figure Skating Championships held at the Nagano City Multi Sports Arena Big Hat. He placed the 2nd in the short program on the 25th, behind Hanyu, and the 3rd in the free program on the 26th, winning the bronze medal.

This year, Mr. Kagiyama has grown from a challenger in last year's competition to an important contender in this year's competition, and under tremendous pressure, he thrilled his SEISA friends all over Japan and the world. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who supported him.
Mr. Kagiyama's school is the SEISA Kokusai High School Yokohama, where a wide variety of students gather to interact and learn from each other. Many students and faculty members have a sense of wonder at the gap between Mr. Kagiyama at school and on TV, and the great success he has achieved in that context. He is now a member of the SEISA community, and we are supporting him from the bottom of our hearts.

Over the past 50 years, SEISA is not striving only for "students adapt to school" but also for those who want to learn more differently with the theme of "school adapts to students", and those who want to immerse themselves in sports and art. Or, for those who want to try again at school, we have placed importance on creating scenes where each person can shine while giving consideration to each person's wishes and ease of learning.

SEISA is not aiming to create a sports school. Rather, we aim to support various types of sports as a means of learning about oneself, making friends, and getting involved. SEISA’s athletes represent SEISA and Japan. They also represent the athletes, testing their way of fighting or playing and living, and continue to perform remarkably well under the watchful eyes of the world. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support.
