The new table tennis series "WTT" has finally started at the Middle East Series in Doha, Qatar. The first WTT contender main tournament was held from March 3 to 6, 2021. Ms. Miyuu KIHARA, a freshman at SEISA Kokusai Kawaguchi, participated in this tournament. In the semi-finals of the singles competition, she faced Hina HAYATA, the winner of the 2020 All Japan Championships, and although she lost the match, she finished in the top 8.
KIHARA, along with HAYATA and her doubles partner, Miyuu NAGASAKI, is a rising star in the Japan Table Tennis Association who is expected to compete in the Paris Olympics. We are very proud to see the success of these players, who are usually in the same school building as their classmates, taking on the challenge of the world on behalf of Japan.
SEISA aims to realize a KYOSEI society through sports, based on the theme of "Do, See, Support".
Please look forward to the KIHARA’s success!
