Ms. Mio WAKABAYASHI, a second year student at SEISA Kokusai High School in Toyama, Japan, has been involved in protecting stray cats since she was a junior high school student, feeding them, looking for homes for them and neutering them. Her work has been featured in the media.
Even now, living in a different area, she is still taking care of 21 cats. With the support of local people who support such a high school student, she is planning to open a share house with shelter cats this April. Ms. Wakabayashi's activities are expanding further, involving more and more people.
“Someone has to do it". Ms. Wakabayashi's activities are the very essence of SEISA’s founding spirit of creating and accomplishing what is needed by society. Please pay attention to her future!
