Yuma KAGIYAMA, a 2nd year student of SEISA Kokusai High School Yokohama, competed in the World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm, Sweden, for the first time, with the hopes of qualifying for the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
On Friday, March 25, 2021 (Japan time), KAGIYAMA competed in the short skating event for the first time and made almost no mistakes, finishing in second place behind Yuzuru HANYU. KAGIYAMA has grown from a chaser to a contender, and he never stops growing.
On Saturday 27th, the Free Practice will be held. Mr. KAGIYAMA’s performance has been a source of encouragement to SEISA students, parents and alumni throughout Japan. We ask for your continued support and encouragement.
