Mr. Okumura, a member of the SEISA Kokusai Shonan Archery Club, won the 59th Prefectural High School Preliminary Round of the Inter-High School Athletic Meet held on Sunday, May 29, 2021, with a score of 627 points.

With this result, we have been selected to participate in the Inter High School Tournament in August! This will be the first time for the Archery Club to compete in the Inter-High School Championships in the fourth year of its existence.

Okumura has been on the U-20/U-17 national team since his first year and was expected to play an important role in the team.

He commented on this result, saying that he had finally achieved a result. He expressed his enthusiasm to overcome each battle and to work even harder to achieve even better results than before.
