Three members of the SEISA Kokusai Shonan women's basketball team have been selected to represent Kanagawa Prefecture at the Inter-High School and National Athletic Meet to be held at Nittan Arena Tochigi on August 21st - 22nd, 2021.

We have received strong messages from the three girls, and would like to introduce them below.

Hana IKISHIMA

I am so happy to be selected for the National Athletic Meet, which has been my goal since I was in junior high school. This is my first experience as an athlete, and I am still inexperienced as a representative of the prefecture, but I want to play my best with awareness and responsibility.

Rino UMEJIMA

I believe that I was selected for the National Athletic Meet not only because of my own strength, but also because of my seniors and teachers. At the games, I will try to contribute as much as I can with my strong point, my jump shot and calm judgment.

Hijiri WATANABE

I'm not the tallest of the center players. That's why I play with tenacity, chasing the ball until the end. I will make the most of this advantage and do my best in games. Thank you for your support.

The SEISA Kokusai Shonan Women's Basketball Team is in its fourth year of operation.

Under the guidance of Mr. Manabu HARADA and Mr. Yasuhiro SUGITA, the SEISA Kokusai Shonan Women's Basketball Team has improved to the level of a national team.

They are one of the fastest growing high school girls' basketball teams in Kanagawa Prefecture. Please look forward to their future success.
