SEISA Asahikawa Kendama Club will participate in the KENDAMA WORLD CUP HATSUKAICHI 2021 (KWC) to be held on August 21st and 22nd, 2021. The KWC has been held in Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, the birthplace of kendama, since 2014, and will be held online this time.

The Kendama Club will be launched at SEISA Kokusai Asahikawa in the fall of 2020, and a search for "Kendama" on YouTube will bring up many videos from overseas, indicating that Kendama is now a common language and sport around the world. As a member of the club, Mr. Murakami (sophomore) commented, "It's fun to go through trial and error to find out how to make the moves work." In addition to practice and experience, mastering complex and skillful moves also requires a sense of physical balance, making it a sport.
