The 1st Parent-Teacher Association Meeting was held at SEISA Takao Campus on August 31st and September 1st, 2019. This was the first such meeting of its kind, bringing together representatives from SEISA schools across Japan.

The meeting was divided into Hokkaido/Tohoku, Kanto, Tokai/Hokuriku/Kinki, Chugoku/Shikoku/Kyusyu/Okinawa, and each block introduced its own activities, including discussions, get-togethers, lectures on SEISA's origins, and a lecture on the history, nature, and vitality of SEISA, the only school in Japan with a "Theater Company". A tour of the SEISA Takao Campus, the only campus in Japan where both "school" and "students" coexist, and a visit to the annual "Takao Rock Festival" were also included in the program.

The motto of the SEISA Parents' Association is "When you can, Do what you can.

We will continue to build the foundation of a "school of mutual relations" by placing the children at the centre of the trinity of "school and parents" rather than the so-called PTA of "school vs parents".

We believe that the smiles, energy and peace of mind of parents will be passed on to their children and will enrich their school life. We will continue to use parent-teacher conferences and alumni parent-teacher meetings as an important means of achieving this.
