The "Apartment Project" was started in September 2021 by students of SEISA Dohto University (Faculty of Fine arts and Department of Architecture). The apartment is finally completed and unveiled to the press.
Lian Kitahiroshima is a five-story RC structure. Students from the Department of Architecture were in charge of the interior and exterior design, and students from the Faculty of Fine Arts were in charge of the murals. The interior of each unit was particular about design for each unit type. The design of the exterior walls, tile materials, and murals are all inspired by the ideas of students who studied fine arts at SEISA Dohto University. The mural titled "I want to fly away" is a collaborative work by fourth-year and second-year students of fine arts from SEISA Kokusai High School Obihiro. Students who visited the building commented that they were impressed because it was exactly how they imagined it would.
SEISA's learning is not limited inside the school, but it uses outside the school and the city itself as the teaching materials. We will continue to practice creating learning opportunities needed by the society while utilizing our expertise. Located near a train station and a supermarket, Lian Kitahiroshima apartment is also close to the Ballpark (to be completed in March 2023), the home of the baseball team Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters boosted by appointment of the team's new manager, Tsuyoshi SHINJO.
